In my last few posts I noted the path that I was taking to work up to getting my OSCP certification. Well, as things always do, this has changed.

Shortly after beginning the AWS Fundamentals training I was given the opportunity to pursue the OSCP sponsored by my employer. Of course, I said yes.

So, I will be posting updates on my learning for the OSCP, after which I will reevaluate on potential next certifications.

First OSCP Update

I have been working through the provided OSCP training material. I can’t post the actual material for obvious reasons, but I can say that I am about 30% of the way through.

This first 30% has been predominantly web application and penetration testing basics, which was a refresher. I don’t expect future material to go as quick, but will keep this blog updated on challenges I face and any information that I find useful that isn’t protected in OffSec’s training material.
